Wondering About God?

I can only imagine, as a parent, He's wondering about you too. Perhaps God is asking, "Why does reconciling our relationship have to take this long if I've already gone the first step and given you the only solution of resolve?"

The bible we believe is the divinely inspired Word of God, and it tells us in John 3:16 that God loves us so much that He gave the life of His only begotten Son, Jesus, to die for us. And that is the ultimate expression of love!

God's perfect plan of salvation requires but these simple things from you: confession and belief; because Jesus already paid the necessary price to bring us back into right relationship with God. The bible tells us in Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead we will be saved. How great a plan to offer such an awesome sacrifice (the life of Jesus) and then only require us to confess him and believe in the resurrection of his life to receive the gift of eternal life.

Wondering about God?

The answer to any question you can ask of Him is "Jesus".

Why? Because he gave his life for you. The penalty for our sins (past, present, and future) have been paid for by his shed blood. And you will be saved, if you believe.

The bible says, "O taste and see that the Lord is good: Blessed is the man that trust in him." (Psalm 34:8) So now I wonder, will you trust in him today? He loves you more than anyone else ever can or ever will. And he desires to be in relationship with you today...forever.

Wondering about God?

"Will he accept me as I am?" YES.
"Does he forgive me for all my sins?" YES.
"Does he truly care about me?" YES.
"Is it true that when I die I will be saved from eternal damnation (hell)?" YES.

So now you're wondering, "How can I receive all of this? How can I experience acceptance, forgiveness, relationship, and salvation?" The answer: Jesus.

You can have all this and more if you'd only accept him. The bible says Jesus came so that we could have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10) and all you have to do to receive him as your Lord and Savior is confess this simple prayer and believe:

"Heavenly Father, I confess that I am a sinner, separated from you. Please forgive my sins and come into my life to be my Savior and Lord. I ask you to fill me with your Spirit that I might be in right relationship with you. I surrender my life to you and I receive the gift of salvation because I believe. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die for me. Thank you for saving me.
In Jesus' name, Amen."

Now that you have asked Jesus into your life and received him into your heart, we would be honored to have you at KCCC and help you through this walk. Therefore I say to you brethren, "Congratulations, and Welcome Home!"
